ETBX Modules

Panels

The ETBX user interface was designed to allow engineers to manage complex analyses without shuffling, arranging, and resizing a disordered stack of input and output windows. To minimize window clutter, ETBX modules are organized into one or more panels that encapsulate input and output data. For example, ETBX results reports are presented in text panels. Most ETBX modules contain at least two panels: an input panel where data is entered and an output panel where calculated results are presented.

Only one panel can be displayed in the module workspace at a time. The panel being displayed is called the active panel. All other panels remain hidden in the panel stack. To change the active panel, click on a tab above the module workspace. Every panel has a corresponding tab. The type of panel is denoted by the icon on its tab:

  Title Panel
  Text Panel
  Plot Panel
  Table Panel
