Plot Titles

Plot titles can be configured in a variety of positions and customized with different fonts and colors. Each plot axis can have only one title.

To edit a plot title, open its properties dialog box by double-clicking on it; or right-click on the title and select the Format Title... menu item.

The Title dialog box has 2 tabs that define the various title properties: the Title tab and the Font tab. The sections that follow describe each tab in detail.

When you are done editing a title's properties, click the OK button to accept your edits. If the Title box next to the Apply To All Plots: label is selected, your title text will be applied to corresponding titles in all plots in the plot panel. If the Format box is selected, the new display properties (e.g., font, alignment) will be applied to corresponding titles in all plots in the plot panel.

Title Tab

The Title tab contains options to adjust the title text and alignment.

Font Tab

Use the Font tab to change the title font. This tab lets you modify the font face, style, color, and size.
