Plot Legend A legend is a key that helps you identify what the different lines and symbols on the plot represent. Legends in ETBX are attached to each individual plot and can be displayed either below or to the right of the plot. Each plot can have only one legend. To edit a plot legend, open its properties dialog box by double-clicking on it; or right-click on the legend and select the Format Legend... menu item. The Legend dialog box has 2 tabs that define the various legend properties: the Patterns tab and the Font tab. The sections that follow describe each tab in detail. When you are done editing legend properties, click the OK button to accept your edits. If the Format box next to the Apply To All Plots label is selected, the new display properties (e.g., border, background, color) will be applied to the legends of all plots in the plot panel. Patterns Tab The Patterns tab contains options to adjust the legend border and background color. The Border input group shows the current line style, weight, and color of the box that contains the legend. Click the down arrow next to the Style box to change the border line style. Click the up and down arrows next to the Weight input to change the line thickness. Click the Color box to open the Color dialog and select a new border color. The Area input ground shows the current background color of the legend. Click the Background Color box to open the Color dialog and select a new background color.
Font Tab Use the Font tab to change the legend font. This tab lets you modify the font face, style, color, and size.
