ETBX Plots

Plot Backgrounds

ETBX plots have 2 background areas: the Plot area and the Chart area. The plot area is bounded by the plot axes and contains the data series. The chart area is everything outside the plot area.

You can apply unique colors and borders to the plot and chart areas individually. To edit an area's display attributes, open its properties dialog box by double-clicking on the area; or right-click on the area and select the Format Area... menu item.

Use the Area dialog box to set area display properties. When you are done editing the display properties, click the OK button to accept your edits. If the Format box next to the Apply To All Plots label is selected, the new display properties (e.g., border, background color) will be applied to the corresponding area for all plots in the plot panel.

Patterns Tab

The Patterns tab contains options to adjust the area border and background color. The Border input group shows the current line style, weight, and color of the box that contains the area. Click the down arrow next to the Style box to change the border line style. Click the up and down arrows next to the Weight input to change the line thickness. Click the Color box to open the Color dialog and select a new border color.

The Area input ground shows the current background color of the area. Click the Background Color box to open the Color dialog and select a new background color.
