Spreadsheets

Toolbar

Each ETBX spreadsheet panel has its own toolbar that appears just above the input area. The buttons in the spreadsheet toolbar allow you to perform common editing and formatting operations quickly.

A description of the buttons in the spreadsheet toolbar is provided below.

Font Input

The Font input group lets you specify the font face and size for a range of cells. Select the cells that you want to change and select a font face and/or size from the drop-down lists.

Cut

The Cut button copies data from selected cells to the system clipboard. When the data is pasted to a target program, the source data is deleted from the selected cells.

Copy

The Copy button copies data from selected cells to the system clipboard. A colored border will be drawn around the selected cells to indicate that the data is available on the clipboard.

Paste

The Paste button copies data from the system clipboard to the selected cells.

Select the Bold button to make the text in the active cell bold.

Italic

Insert

The Insert button add new blank rows or columns to the spreadsheet. Existing rows or columns will be shifted down (for rows) or to the right (for columns) to make room for the new rows or columns. This button is inactive when no rows or columns are selected.

Clear All

The Clear All button removes all data from the spreadsheet.

Font Color

The Font Color button opens a Color chooser that lets you specify the color of the text in the selected cells.
