8.1 I require specific applications that are currently not part of ETBX. Can ETBX be expanded to include these?
Yes. Engrasp can provide custom development of ETBX modules to address your specific application needs. Please contact us to request more information.
8.2 What are the future plans
for ETBX?
ETBX is a centerpiece in Engrasp's mission to build world-class tools to help engineers solve complex problems quickly. Our goal is to make ETBX the premier visual rapid-analysis tool in the formulative design space. We will meet this goal by focusing on growth, simplicity, and the needs of our customers in the engineering community:
Growth - The ETBX computational libraries will be enhanced and expanded through the addition of practical solutions that provide value to our customers.
Simplicity - Simplicity and ease-of-use is what separates ETBX from its competitors. Future updates will continue to introduce new capabilities that help our customers explore a wider range of design solutions in less time and with improved accuracy.
Community - Engrasp considers its customer base and the greater engineering community to be an essential part of the development process. ETBX was developed with extensive input from engineers at top corporations and universities worldwide. Advancements in ETBX technologies will continue to be strongly tied to the needs of the community. For example, one initiative being studied is the development of a module builder environment that lets users create and share custom solution modules easily.

9.1 What
screen resolution is required to run ETBX?
Most ETBX modules were sized for a screen resolution
of 1024x768. However, ETBX is designed to work
with any screen resolution.
9.2 What quality
control is applied to ETBX to eliminate incorrect answers?
Each ETBX module
is carefully checked before release for general use,
and the Engrasp development team does its best to ensure
that the modules perform as intended.
After release, we actively solicit and receive
feedback from thousands of ETBX users
worldwide. Any subsequent changes
that are needed are included in the next
periodic software release.
All work of a technical nature must be checked
independently for accuracy of results, whether
the work is done by hand or using a commercial
software application.
That is why it is common engineering practice
to ask one engineer to perform an analysis or
design and another engineer to independently
check the results for suitability of the approach
and correctness of the computed data.
9.3 How do I
save and print the results of my ETBX calculations?
The latest version of ETBX provides full support for the printing and saving of results data and graphics.
9.4 What system
of engineering units does ETBX support?
ETBX features flexible and comprehensive support for engineering units . Users can specify whatever input and output units they prefer in all solution modules. ETBX automatically tracks units and applies the necessary conversions to maintain a coherent system for calculations.
