This privacy statement discloses our practices for the gathering and use of information from visitors to Engrasp Web sites, (www.engrasp.com, www.engineerstoolbox.com, www.etbx.com), and from people who register for services that we offer online.  Engrasp provides a link to this privacy statement on all pages that ask for personal information.

Personal Information

If you decide to register for our web-based services, subscribe to our newsletters, or request additional information about Engrasp products or services, Engrasp may request contact information such as:

• Name
• E-mail Address
• Phone Number

and/or demographic information such as:

• Corporate Affiliation
• University
• Country of Residence

Except as may be stated expressly in this Privacy Policy, Engrasp does not share personal  information with third parties. 

Engrasp will not store or release personally identifying information about you without first obtaining consent. We consider the following information to be personally identifying: name, e-mail or postal address, company names, telephone number, fax number, credit card number, or Social Security number. Other  "personal information" is some times not personally identifying. For example, demographic information, (age or date of birth, gender, education, occupation, income) and interests information (hobbies, interests, and the type of hardware or software used by the online consumer) are not personally identifying.

Registration Forms
Registration information submitted on Engrasp.com is used by the site for the purpose for which it was submitted.  Engrasp will not store or release personal identifying information about you without first obtaining consent.  Personal information may be used in several ways:

• To enable us to respond to you or to process, validate and verify service requests and to perform the requested services
• To allow us to charge and invoice you and to contact you regarding changes to the subscribed services
• To provide advertisers with aggregate - never individual - information about our registrants and aggregate usage patterns
• To give our own Web site designers information that's useful for developing new features and services that meet registrants' needs

In case you change your mind about personal information you have given us or if some of it has changed, we will endeavor to provide a way to review, correct, update or remove personal information you have given us. Please contact us for specific requests.

Newsletters
If you subscribe to an Engrasp newsletter, the information you provide (e.g., e-mail address) will only be used to deliver the requested newsletter.  Your e-mail address will not be given or shared with third parties, and we will not send out additional e-mails on behalf of our partners,  advertisers, and/or affiliates.

To opt out of receiving a newsletter from Engrasp.com that you have previously subscribed for, click on the "Unsubscribe" link contained in each newsletter.

Feedback Forms
If you choose to contact us by e-mail or via our feedback form, we will use return e-mail addresses to answer the e-mail we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purposes and are not shared with outside parties.

Contact Forms
At Engrasp.com you can submit contact information to request we contact you about our products and services or regarding upcoming news and events.  If you do so, one of Engrasp's sales consultants will contact you. We use such contact information to communicate with you regarding your inquiry.  No other personal information is collected at Engrasp.com.  If you change your mind about being contacted by an Engrasp sales consultant, just contact us via e-mail.

Tell a Friend
If you elect to use our referral service to inform a friend about our site(s), you can submit your friend's e-mail address. We will automatically send the friend a one-time e-mail inviting him or her to visit our site. We will use your friend's e-mail for the sole purpose of sending this one-time e-mail. The friend may also contact us to request that we delete the information.

If You Contact Us
We use return e-mail addresses to answer the e-mail we receive at any of our sites, but such e-mail addresses are not stored or used for any other purpose.

We do not ordinarily maintain e-mails that have been sent to us after they have been replied to, but if you would like to review, edit or delete any information previously e-mailed to us that we might still have, contact us by e-mail.  It's important that you include a copy of the previous e-mail, including its original address line, to enable us to locate it.

Aggregate Information
Engrasp may share aggregate statistical information gathered from the registration process with advertisers, business partners, sponsor or other third parties, but none of them receive individual identifying information about you collected at our sites. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X number of visitors visited a certain area on a Web site or that Y number of students and Z number of professional engineers filled out registration forms, but we would not disclose anything that would identify those individuals. We share this information only on an aggregate, anonymous basis and never on an individual basis.

Engrasp web sites require cookies for user registration and access to protected subscription services, such as the EngineersToolbox.

Third Party Cookies At Our Sites
Some of the banner ads displayed on our sites may be provided by outside companies, and may contain cookies. While we use cookies in other parts of our Web site, cookies received with banner ads are placed by our advertisers. We do not have access to these cookies or any information that they may contain; please contact the advertisers for more information on these cookies.

Security Information

You do not need to set up a user id and password to use our Web sites because we do not require you to establish your identity when you visit our sites. However, if you have subscribed for some of our services or are a Engasp customer seeking access to your account information, you will have to provide passwords. We recommend you do not divulge your password to anyone.  Engrasp will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited telephone call or e-mail. You are responsible for the secrecy of your passwords.

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems. Please contact us to report network abuse and any risk of security violations.

Spam

Unsolicited E-mails Received by You
Engrasp does not send unsolicited e-mails to non-public addresses or to anyone who has requested we do not contact them. Any newsletters that we send are only sent to those who have taken affirmative steps to subscribe for them at one of our Web sites. To stop receiving e-mails or newsletters from Engrasp, either click on an unsubscribe link on the email or newsletter itself or contact us and request to be unsubscribed.

Engrasp also does not condone unauthorized advertising sent by our partners, advertisers,  or affiliates, including: promotional materials, junk mail, Spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any other form of solicitation. If you receive such a solicitation from an Engrasp affiliate, please contact us immediately.

Your Acceptance

By using our sites, you signify your agreement to the privacy polices described above. If you do not agree with our privacy policies, please do not use our sites. If we make any substantial changes in the way we use your personal information we will notify you by posting a prominent announcement on our pages or we will e-mail you.
